Styling: Frontiers Magazine Automotive & Travel

T.G.I.F Fashion Followers!

I hope you're enjoying your Friday as much as I am!

About I week ago I had the chance to work with the wonderful team at Frontiers Magazine for the 3rd time on their latest issue which revolves around automotive and travel advice for the LGBT community.

For this issue I wanted to convey a California ease while still incorporating some fall elements into the mix.

Take a look at the cover of Frontiers Magazine's Automotive and Travel issue!

I was also inspired by the surrounding environment of Great Spirits Ranch; notice the feather elements, leather details and masculine forest green pants work well with the atmosphere.

By the way, we used a Fiat... just like J.LO!  LOVE IT!

I can't wait for the rest of the issue to be released on Monday and you can download it HERE

But for now, check out these behind the scenes pictures taken by yours truly!!!

I really hope fashion followers get a chance to see the rest of the looks I put together for this issue of Frontiers Magazine!

Remember it hits newsstands on Monday.

Ciao & Safe Travels!

Hola, Fashion Followers!

Around this time of year is when I was first inspired to start this blog.  Now, over the past two years both myself and Fashionsalvation.com have grown professionally and personally.  This blog is a living chronicle of my career as a stylist, life as a human being, thoughts as an artist and inspirations surrounding the ever evolving world for fashion.

Happy Birthday Fashionsalvation and welcome to the terrible two's!

Two years later... We're still here and stronger than ever!

As I reflect on the past year at Fashionsalvation, I wanted to share some of the fun, poignant and game changing memories that continue to inspire me today or just but a smile on my face!

Need I say more!

The past year has been exciting, rewarding, unreal, surreal, hard, stressful, worth it and beautiful.  I'm grateful for every opportunity that has come my way and every experience I've been involved with.

But most importantly,  I'm thankful for the wonderful readers, fashion followers, facebook friends, twitter followers, peers, family members, friends and loved ones I get to share my experiences with.  All of YOU continue to inspire me everyday all day.

THANK YOU!

Styling: Frontiers Magazine Boyfriend Material

Hey, Fashion Followers!

About two weeks ago I had the opportunity to work the fantastic team from Frontiers Magazine.  The magazine invited me back to style their latest issue (out now) which includes 10 of L.A's most eligible bachelors and features actor/screenwriter David W. Ross on the cover.

Frontiers Magazine: David W. Ross Photos by Andrew Johnston

The whole concept for this photoshoot was to convey an easy sexiness while still playing on the themes of how a bachelor lives, works and plays!

Floored by actor/screenwriter David W. Ross

For this shoot I integrated some fall trends for men.  You can see them throughout the entire magazine some trends include tie clips, geometric patterns and this fall's must have for men boots!

Check me out in the credits!

I also wanted to capture David's essence as an artist and playful sense of humor while paying homage to his past as a musician.  Take a look at the feature below!

The ultimate bachelor David W. Ross rocks out!

As you can see the location (The Residences at the W Hotel) along with a great creative team, fantastic photographer and wonderful talent captured all aspects of how a bachelor would live in Los Angeles.

Living in the lap of luxury

Once again, I had the best time working with everyone on this issue of Frontiers Magazine and I hope all of you get a chance to enjoy it too.  Frontiers is available in Los Angeles, San Diego and the Palm Springs area but if you don't live in any of these places you can download the entire magazine for free HERE!

Fashion followers, How do you think I did styling this issue of Frontiers Magazine?  I can't wait to hear what you guys think!

A Fall Fashion Preview!

It's Friday! Fashion Followers!

Earlier last month I was invited to Neiman Marcus' fall fashion preview in Beverly Hills!  It was a super fun and fancy morning with my fellow blogstars.  Neiman Marcus presented us with the latest in fall trends for women.

This look is lady chic one of this fall's hot trends for women!

One thing I did notice during this fall fashion preview is that some of spring/summer trends such as colorblocking has carried over into fall.

Another fall trend for women that I'm loving is the lady chic (pictured above) look.  And if you know me well or read the blog often I love it when a lady looks like a "LADY".

Speaking of lady's... There where three looks that where shown during the fall fashion preview that reminded me of pop culture icons such as Lady Gaga, the women of Mad Men and Carrie Bradshaw.  Take a look!

Life imitating art... three looks inspired by pop culture icons!

I think it's great how pop culture and fashion influence each other.  It also shows the different aspects and sides of a woman and how they would like to represent themselves on any given day.

Who would YOU like to be this fall? Gaga, Joni or Carrie?

(LEFT) Gaga inspired leather jacket... she was born that way!

(MIDDLE) Is that Joni from Mad Men in that Gucci colorblocked top?

(RIGHT) Oh, yes! The infamous Carrie in Paris dress.

Fall Fashion: Which one are you?

Just reminder, you can always participate in trends but please stay true to what's important to you and what works for your body type.

Some of the fall seasons trends such as pumps, handheld bags, leather and bold gold jewelry can be easily worked into your wardrobe without changing who you are as a person!

Stay true!
